Cartoon Project

In Multimedia reporting last week our class was assigned a really enjoyable project, which involved creating a conversation between two cartoons. Each student had to create a conversation (script) between two characters of their choice and it could be about any topic.

After creating a script, we learned to use an easy website to make that conversation into a mini movie scene. First, we had to choose two cartoon characters from the website. Second, we had to choose a setting in which our conversation would take place. Eventually, we could choose voices for our characters and make our mini movie.

I created a conversation between Jim Harbaugh and John Harbaugh, who are brothers and coached against each other in the Super Bowl this past weekend. I'm a huge sports fan and wanted to know how a conversation between them would be leading up to the biggest game of the year. So I created the script, which mostly involved them engaging in some pre-game trash talk.

This project ended up being extremely fun, especially since we got to create this mini movie on any topic of our choice.
